CXCL2 Overview

Human growth-regulated oncogene beta (GRO-β), also known as CXCL2, is a member of the CXC family of protein chemokines.GRO-β is also known as MIP-2 in mice and CINC-3 in rats.GRO-β consists of 107 amino acids (aa) and has a molecular weight of approximately 11 kDa.GRO-β is secreted by a variety of cells at the site of inflammation, including monocytes and macrophages, and has chemotactic effects on granulocytes, including neutrophils. GRO-β is secreted by a variety of cells at the site of inflammation, including monocytes and macrophages, and has a chemotactic effect on granulocytes, including neutrophils.GRO-β plays an important role in inflammatory response and damage repair. GRO has been gradually identified as a proto-oncogene, and its expression plays a key role in angiogenesis, metastasis, and tumor-immune cell interactions.
